Mayday

Houston is blessed with an incredible amount of activity when it comes to a collective automotive community. The city’s natural diversity creates a wide spectrum of Motorsport and car fashion niches for everyone no matter what your particular taste may be. This is not just a reoccurring phenomenon that just so happened to form. There are a lot of really awesome people behind the scenes who act as well lubricated cog wheels that keep the gears of our community turning so we can all come together and express what we enjoy about the vehicles we drive.

One of the awesome people who work hard behind the scenes is a guy named John. He just so happens to be the owner of the NSX pictured above and is the driving force behinds Houston’s biggest meets and events via Mayday Garage. Whether you’ve got a tastefully modified japanese nostalgic car or a Bride and Takata backpack your mom bought you for, John would be more than happy to have you at the Mayday Garage meets. Also don’t be afraid to introduce yourself! John and just about everyone else at the meets are very friendly cool people. Anyways just thought I’d rant for a second. Let’s all go out and support awesome people and organizations who do really cool stuff for us to enjoy as a group! Let’s focus on supporting each other as friends rather than our own personal achievements and disagreements over social media.

Thanks for reading!

(Here are a couple film photos from last coffee and rice. They have meets every Sunday from 10-12 at toute suite and then monthly on Wednesdays in montrose around 6:30)
