HAHA SO DIRTY! Engine bay needs some TLC for sure. Will start with fresh AMS oil and cleaning the air filter. If anyone was wondering this car makes 270 horse power and 305 foot pounds of torque at the wheels CONSISTENTLY. This was achieved with a combination of a turbo back exhaust system and an electronic boost controller. So it retains it’s factory turbo and reliability. All of this was done in the careful hands of the guys at kozmic Motorsports (Eric and David). Both of these guys including the entire staff take the time to educate me and give me nothing less than exceptional work. Eric the owner spent a very long time with the dyno tuning process and refused to give me back my car until he believed it was perfect. After finishing my car at around 2 AM, he then spent a great deal of time educating me on the platform but more importantly the special sst transmission over a cigarette break. Didn’t mean to go off on a tangent about kozmic, but they really are an exceptional group of people who will not tolerate marginal errors in their work.
2016 should be alot of fun because of the new wheel/tire/suspension setup that will be matched with my development of the motor and the sst transmission. Really excited to compete with it finally and set some personal best times. Also saw a rare car recently. An Infiniti m30 vert with bbs wheels (oem?).
Being perplexed and knowing nothing about the vehicle I did some research and found that it’s a kin to the z31 nissan as far as powertrain but shares suspension characteristics of an s13 (parts interchangeable). I quickly grew fond of its bland period correct styling and unique chassis/drifting potential. All it needs is some solid coilovers, blitz 03 wheels, and “BN” style aero. Very cool chassis!
Things have been pretty slow lately with the Mitsubishi. College and working part time has really put a damper on my financial freedom. I’ve been focusing alot on the wrangler while I slowly save up for ricer things. My BBS and Continental extreme contacts have finally arrived so I’m planning on an alignment and fresh AMSOIL so I can get back on the road, autox, and maybe some meets. Also I’ve been working on an “itasha” design recently but I’m reluctant to do it because of the increasing popularity. Social media has already kind of ruined it for me. Hood design Hood design Hood design Hood design I might just ditch the hood design and stick with the windshield banner because vape kidz insta-fame likes to ruin anything cool and original.
In other news I would really like to “reach the summit” of final bout 3. I know a team from Texas is going (essence) but I’m an introvert in the “car community” so I’m reluctant to reach out and see if I could tag along. Also lots of cool people that I would enjoy meeting in person will be there and I believe it’s an all around awesome event. I wanted to post a picture of a car that I really admire from essence but was unable to find a picture worthy of posting. From what I’ve heard it’s stock motor r32 sedan with BN and blitz 03’s. It’s black and I’m a sucker for BN aero so I think it’s great. (Edit: found the r32 from essence find him on WordPress as jyw0rld)
